Chelsea is my favourite team. I have always said it, and I have never hidden it.
326
I don’t want to say PSG is a step backwards, but It would be returning to something I already know. I’m always in for new challenges. When I will leave Chelsea one day, it would be to discover something new.
327
328
Chelsea is in my heart and I was so proud to achieve so much for the club.
329
330
I am very happy in London and to be at Chelsea.
331
Of course I would return to Real Madrid once I win all there is to win with Chelsea and after a long and successful career at Chelsea.
332
333
The transfer was good for me, good for Chelsea, good for Shanghai, and I’m so happy to come to the Chinese Super League.
334
Chelsea know how to win cup finals.
335
To play at Chelsea is a dream for any player. It is standing next to some of the best players in the world and competing with the world’s best as well.
336
I want to win the title with Chelsea.
337
It’s been a very successful time for me here at Chelsea.
338
If you play at a world-class team like Chelsea, you have to perform every day.
339
I grew up in Chelsea on 22nd Street… I am really a native New Yorker.
340
When Chelsea signed Ashley Cole I was playing really well at the time, and we were playing against Charlton. We were 1-0 up when they equalised and immediately afterwards my number came up and I was subbed off for Ashley. I knew then that my time at Chelsea was up.
341
342
I am not really a football man but I have always supported Chelsea because we lived there. We have been through the lows.
343
344
345
City has helped me and Chelsea has helped me to be in the national squad.
346
347
I looked at it, and it was like, ‘Can I push and make the Olympic squad?’ It is tough going from 18 players, including Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. I thought that might be a push too far for me. I had no Champions League with Chelsea. I lost my motivation.
348
When I was playing for Chelsea and Arsenal, we had a young team but also experienced players. You still have space for the youngsters to play, they just have to be strong mentally to compete every week.
349
I certainly feel appreciated at Chelsea.
350
351
Chelsea and Arsenal tried to sign me when I was 13, 14.
352
353
I don’t think John Terry would have been the player he was if he hadn’t had Marcel Desailly or Frank Leboeuf in front of him with us at Chelsea.
354
355
But doesn’t it seem like Chelsea’s sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?
356
I definitely did not fail at Chelsea. I always had my chance, scored important goals in the first season. At the end I just wanted the transfer, although Jose Mourinho wanted me to stay.
357
I have made many memories during my time with Chelsea, which I will take with me into my next challenge.
358
359
Chelsea is a great team with some amazing players.
360
I think Eden did an amazing job, had an amazing time with Chelsea.
361
When people think of New York, they don’t automatically think of going to Chelsea Piers and Pier 40, where you’re going to find a soccer field, a baseball field, the trapeze and bowling alleys.
